#[non_exhaustive]pub enum ErrorClass {
Retryable,
RecordLevel,
Fatal,
}Expand description
Broad classification used in metrics labels (error_type) and by the
retry layer.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Retryable
Transient; retrying the same operation may succeed.
RecordLevel
Specific to one record; retrying the same record cannot succeed.
Fatal
The component or pipeline is broken; processing must stop.
